Star Schema - Refresh after Table Changes

I have a large flat file I successfully converted into star schema.  Working fine, creating viz's NP.  Now.... the user group wants to add 5 new columns.  To integrate into the same data model what do I need to do ... if anything?  The 5 new columns have been added.  What will happen if I do nothing and click refresh ?

Hi @Peekay_Num ,

 Power BI Desktop will pick up the schema changes. Power BI Service will not.
