Standard On-Premises Data Gateway Registration Issue

My tenant has a stuck Personal mode on-premises data gateway that reappears after deletion. It blocks Standard gateway registration. Please help me if anybody knows what to do, as I have tried everything.

There are two effective approaches:

Remove the Personal Gateway via Power BI Service

1. Sign in to Power BI Service with the account that owns the personal gateway.
2. Navigate to Settings > Gateways.
3. Locate the personal gateway and select Remove.
4. Wait a few minutes and confirm that it no longer appears in the list.

After removal

• Install the On-premises Data Gateway (Standard Mode) on the server.
• Register it using an account with administrative permissions in the tenant.
• Configure the data sources in Manage Gateways.
