Sort date segment when I use analysis in excel of a pbi cube

Hello,

I have uploaded a power bi cube on pbi service and I use analysis in excel function to build some reports on excel.

In order to filter my data, I use a Date segment from the field Date of my Calendar table.

When I try to sort my segment from Z to A to have latest dates on the top, it's sorting my segment as "Date" field was a text format. In power bi I have defined it as a Date format.

I know that everything different of measures are treated as text format in a pivot table connected to power bi datamodel.

Is there any solution to be able to sort my Date segment from latest date (Z to A).

Thanks in advance for your help.

Best regards

Hi @JM_CORP ,

Based on the description, please try the following methods:

1.Create the new column for sorting.
