Someting went wrong - Unable to Updat ethe model = PowerBI Embedded

Hi

We have a few reports / data sets in a workspace on app.powerbi.com. they are distribiuted to customers on a embedded application (node js) hosted in Azure as well. This setup as all working till this AM, suddenly we see a something went wrong - unable to update the model.

Node.JS application log reveals the the call to powerbi is succssful . the error message is internal to powerBI but, does nothappen opening the report directly in app.powerbi.com.

regards

raghu

Creating a Support ticket definitely helped. thanks for the suggestion. The issue is now resolved. We used a composite model (1 table in Direct Query and remaining 10 tables in IMport mode). This was not OK for embedded application using impersonation. Only issue happened was when this PBIX was republished using a simple model using all tables in ImportMode, it was still not workin. deleted the pbix and published as new, helped.

Hi @raghuv2010 ,

According to your description, It seems that you could open the report in Power BI service successfully , but have errors with the embedded report ,right?

Which embed way you used? Embed to SharePoint , Embed to website or portal , or Publish to web?

Could you please describe the scenario in more detail to help us clarify it?
