Hi guys & gals,
I'm not having a good PowerBI day today :(. It seems to me that the sharing functionality is broken.
When I try to share a report (by pressing the sharing button, then adding the email of the user (it is auto-recognised by AD), and then clicking Share, I get the following error:
I contacted support, but they called me back on my bathroom break (Legends say the odds of that happening are about 90%).
Does anyone else have this issue? I have it on 2 of our domains, so it doesnt seem to be restricted to my account....
Jaap
I had to log out then log back in. Everything worked fine after that.
The error messages were vague and unhelpful.
I also have this issue. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.
MS has rolled back an update yesterday, which fixed this issue. Guess the QA didn't find this issue before release.
Thanks MS!
Same issue on my site.
Hi @Anonymous
Do you share the report with an external user?
How about sharing the report without selecting [Send email notification to recipients]?
Do you enable sharing content to external users in Admin Portal and add the user’s email to invite him?
Have a look at the following article:
Best Regards
Maggie
I tried unticking the boxes, and having them ticked. I see a similar post for a german woman here:
They are internal users btw, they have the right rights. I did these things last week and it worked fine. I think there's a bug.
