Having a really hard time getting a Paginated Report to work in Power BI Service.
My company uses Snowflake as our database which requires an ODBC connection for Paginated Reports. I created a DSN for it and it works fine on my local machine.
However, when publishing to the service, it requires using an on-prem gateway. I was prompted to add this datasource to our on-prem gateway but I am still getting the following error.
A data source used by this report returned an error. Received error payload from gateway service with ID 2021611
Has anyone had a successful experience using Paginated Reports using an ODBC Driver for Snowflake in Power BI service?
Thanks,
Andrew
Hi @coyne44
In my knowledge Power BI doesn't need ODBC to connect to Snowflake anymore

Hey @aj1973 ,
For normal reports it does not. For Paginated reports.. It does unfortunately.
So you can create a Power BI Dataset using Power BI Desktop and use that for your paginated report but it is significantly slower and more work in the report.
Slower !!
Ok your DSN you created is it a 64-bit? cause it has to be.
