Smart Narrative with Copilot and PDF Export and Email Subscription Not Working

The Smart Narrative COPILOT version does not show up if the report is exported as a PDF, sent via email subscription, nor published publicly on the web.

The following smart narrative shows up as:

Is there a way for users to see the smart narrative output in a report that is emailed via a subscription or downloaded as a pdf?
Our team has the premium account and the report lives in a premium-level workspace.
Is there any plan to enable this function in the future? It kind of defeats the purpose of having a copilot smart narrative option if no one can see it.

Hello, this feature is a must. Smart Narrative feature is a powerful tool for any management that will never or rarely access analytics. If they can receive an email with the pdf report and an executive summary from Smart narrative this would be perfect. This pdf generation that does not work is ruining many use cases.

Thanks. I will submit for voting and hopefully enough people may see the benefits of this update and prioritize it.

Hi @buitrond  - This limitation is due to how Power BI handles AI-generated visuals, which are dynamically generated in the service rather than being rendered as static content.

alternative or workaround should be, Instead of using the Copilot-generated Smart Narrative, manually copy the insights into a text box in Power BI.
This ensures that the text appears in exports and email subscriptions.

there is no official confirmation on when AI-powered visuals will be exportable.

Thank you for your response.
Unfortunately, this is not a viable solution since this report is refreshed daily, and it would now require manual labor on a daily basis with your proposed workaround.
It would be ideal if the copilot smart narrative feature was enabled into static report views, subscriptions, pdf downloads, and email subscriptions.
