Hi,
I have created Smart Narrative copilot preview in new page by linking a report page. While clicking the footnote number 1 or 2 it is not directing to the correct visual . It is directing to different page.

Hi @Iamrajj ,
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric Community. Also thank you @SaiTejaTalasila for your inputs.
The issue you're encountering stems from how Smart Narrative (Copilot preview) handles footnote linking. When a Smart Narrative is generated, the footnote references are dynamically tied to visuals present on the same page during creation. If the narrative is later moved to a different page, those references may not retain correct visual associations and can redirect to unrelated pages or visuals. This is a known behavior due to current limitations in cross-page visual linking within the Smart Narrative Copilot preview experience.
To ensure footnotes function correctly, we recommend creating the Smart Narrative on the same page as the referenced visuals and keeping them together. If you need the narrative on a summary page, it's advisable to regenerate it with visuals present on that page.
For more guidance, please refer to the official documentation on Smart Narrative with Copilot (preview).
Hope this helps. Please reach out for further assistance.

It works fine in edit mode but not in reading mode, which is odd. However, I believe this falls under the disclaimer that ‘The accuracy of public preview may be limited.
