Slideshow for Apps or Dashboards

Hello everyone,

 

I'm looking to get some TV's to show the contents of either an app or dashboard. I have seen some threads on the forum from a couple years ago and am wondering if there are any updates or new ways to get this functionality.

    Hi Anonymous ,

     

    So, displaying to a "tv" vs a "monitor" is not necessarily different.  I don't know about a "new" way to do it or not but if you ahve visuals and you are displaying them it can be a large monitor or a tv.  The trick is in the connection - do you have smart tv that connects to your network and opens up the Power BI URL?  Or, do you use an embedded in your own system that your tv uses?  Or any of the other connections you have to get the tv to display items on your network. 

     

    Then, the next step is to determine if you are just displaying a static view, a slideshow in Power BI or a slideshow on the tv of different reports.
