Show data in dashboard when default gateway is offline

Hi I'm new to Power BI. I've set up a dashboard that shows pulls in data from SQL server using Direct Queries. The data shows up fine when the gateway is online. However when the gateway is offline the dashboard is blank (displays an error). Is there a way that the dashboard can show the last synced data before the gateway went offline rather than displaying an error message?

try changing your model from direct query to dual mode in power bi desktop in relationship (storage mode under advance options) , that will make your table being both, direct query and importet, so when your gateway its offline BI would have the last refreshed information oon it , other them this I dont think its possible since in direct query the model mantains the data on the source.
