It seems that after the November 2017 update in which viewing underlying report data went from being called See Data to Show Data, something has messed up the columns shown. Viewing the report in PowerBI Desktop, the Show Data columns and alignment is correct. When you publish the report and view through app.powerbi.com, it adds extra column headers in, and throws off alignment of the data. Has anyone else seen this? Is there a workaround?
Hi @5TimeGrandpa,
I test it using the latest version: 2.52.4921.682 64-bit (November 2017), everything works fine. The picture is report in desktop, then publish it to service, it shows in picture2. There is no extra column headers and it displays correct when you click "show data"(picture3).

Could you please share a screenshot to show the error happened?

Here are screencaps from PowerBI Desktop, and then the same report published in the service. Note the extra columns appearing in the service.
PowerBI Desktop
Same report once published. It not only repeats column headers, but also re-orders them as well. It is not just happening on one report... it is many reports. Also, prior to November, they all appeared correctly, and were not changed between then and now.
Hi @5TimeGrandpa,
After test, I can't reproduce your scenario. We have no power to check your background data. I personally suggest you create a support ticket on the right bottom of page for better assistance.
Best Regards,
Angelia
