Hi - we have created a landing Workspace which has restricted permissions with multitude of lakehouses inside that one workspace. We have set it up so that unique users only have permissions to certain lakehouses and not the workspace as a whole, then they are able to shortcut the lakehouse tables that they have into their own lakehouses. We are running into an issue when creating PowerBI reports with these shortcutted tables - when trying to publish the report online I get this issue "Your file was published but disconnected". Could you explain this issue and a solution to this issue
Thank you GilbertQ
Hi, @SB123
You handle the issue of checking permissions as mentioned by Super User. In addition, you also need to check if the connection to your data source is still online. This problem usually occurs when we use a gateway to connect to our data source and then import the data from the data source into Lakehouse, and suddenly the gateway is disconnected.
You can find the same case as yours in the following link and refer to the solution.

Is the user using direct lake If there are, it could be a permission issue due to the shortcuts from the source Lakehouse?
