Sharing reports outside my organisation

Dear PowerBI communty,    (This is my first help post on a community board, please let me know if I'm not following conventions).   I am trying to share a PowerBI dashboard outside my organisatio...

    Hi CoenLouis ,

    Have you invite the receipient as a guest user? There are two ways of invites.

    1.Dashboard(not report) sharing.

    As long as it is in the email format, it will be successful, even if it is not real.

    But if the input is obviously not in mailbox format, it will prompt "You can't use invalid or duplicate emails."

    2.Planned invites.

    If  you have been assigned the user admin, The Azure portal enables you to send the invites. More details refer to this link: Distribute content to external guest users with Azure AD B2B - Power BI | Microsoft Docs

     

    After the external user has been invited as a guest user successfully, you can share reports to them.

Sharing outside your organization is difficult and hard to manage and its by design. Microsoft Partner In Summa Data Solutions had developed a great solutions to tackle both problems.. Have a look at www.webdashboard.com 

 

Its available through appsource Business Apps – Microsoft AppSource
