I have a report in my workspace. I want to see how I can share it. I got to share/embed report/website or portal and a long link. I am pasting this link into another Browser. If I am already logged in to powerbi.com it shows my portal and everything but if I log out then the link will request me to log in. Is tat how it is supposed to work? I thought the link would just open the report. Am I wrong?
Thanks
But publish to web is not even available.
Hi @Markzolotoy
When you share a report via Embed report > Website or portal, it is securely embedded in a website or portal within your organization. So users in your organization (or guest users) need to log in with their accounts to view the report. This is designed for data security within an orginazation. Reference: Embed a report in a secure portal or website - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
If you want to open a report without login, what you are chasing is Publish to web (public). However, it is not available if your organization's Power BI administrators have disabled this feature for users in your organization. Ask your admins to help find out whether you have permission to use this feature. Reference: Power BI admin portal - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
Kindly let me know if this helps.

@Markzolotoy , Based on what I got.
There are two types of links. Public link and private link.
The private link needs login and it recommended way.
The second one is to publish to be. Not recommended. But this will share data with public with that link .
