Sharing report with Composite Model does not work
- 1 year ago
The problem could be solved now. It seems that the problem with the sharing was caused due to the fact, that all Measures (in all involved Semantic Models) were located in a Calculated Table called "[ Measures]". As soon as I created the first measure in an "normal" import table, the sharing started working. This was true even after I moved the new measure to the "[ Measures]" table.
Best Regards

Thank you! But all 3 Semantic Models (2 Import + 1 Composite) are on the same workspace and also part of the same App ... so my users have access to all 3 Models. The 2 Imported Models can be accessed without problems, the visuals in the report of the 1 Composite Model show all the error mentioned above ...
Any RLS or OLS involved?

No, RLS and OLS are not activated yet (this would be the next step).
Thanks for your help in advance!

Otherwise you can raise an issue at https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues .- roloc031 year agoFrequent Visitor
Thank you, this link was very useful and I entered a new support ticket. As soon as we have found a solution I will come back here and post it.
Background information: I already tried to open a support ticket before in the Power BI Admin Portal (since I have the tenant admin role), but this didn`t work due to a missing support contract (although we have Pro and PPU licenses). I think this could be a bug in the Power BI Admin Portal ...
