As far as I can understand, you would have to use the onmicrosoft.com accounts, because these are the ones that you have the Power BI License assigned to.
What you could do, is to go into Azure Active Directory and then remove the Power BI Pro license from the onmicrosoft.com and then apply it to the companyname.com?

We already tried this Azure Active Directory has the same problem as Power BI Our current account type is not supported, like Power BI we need to become an IT admin, which is not possible under G Suite using our companyname.com.
