While still a Power BI novice, I have quite a bit of experience with Tableau. One drawback of Tableau is the inablity for a user in my organization to subscribe to a dashboard that contains only a table of data, and receive that table as a spreadsheet in their email inbox on a regular basis. They can receive a PDF image of the dashboard/table, but not the actual data.
Is there any such functionality with Power BI? Thank you.
In addition to paginated reports, the other way to attach data to emails is using Power Automate, but the process is "some assembly required".
Thanks, @christinepayton. We're using a combo of Tableau and Power Automate currently, but we'd like to move away from it. I completely understand your comment about "some assembly required." 😁
Hi @Nate_Laning
If you want to have the actual data you could create a Power BI Paginated report. Then when they subscribe to the report they could ask to include the attachment in Excel or CSV.

Thank you, @GilbertQ. I've never experimented with paginated reports. After reading the article, I'm somewhat concerned about the data sources available for those. Most of our data is in Snowflake, and I didn't see that listed as an option. I suppose it's worth looking into, though.
