Sharing a report in a PPU workspace with a Pro licence user

Hello,

I've created a report and published it to a Premium per User workspace.  I've then shared the report to users outside of my organisation who have Power BI Pro licences.  They don't seem to be able to access it though.

I've run a test using another account I have that has a Pro licence and I couldn't get to it.  However, when I turned on the PPU trial, I was able to access the report.

I was under the impression you can share a PPU workspace report with Pro users.  Am I incorrect?

Hi @RNZALR ,

You cannot share the reports with users having Pro or Free license under Pro/Premium per user.

The only way that you can share reports with unlimited users is with Premium capacity. See image below for reference.

If your reports may not have any Row Level Security implemented on them. You may create a public link to share the report. But this will allow any user to access the report regardless of him in your tenant or not if he has the public link.

Thanks, yes I've established that if you have a PPU licence and publish a report to a workspace that isn't a premium workspace, someone with a Pro licence can access it if it has been shared with them.

However, if it is in a premium workspace, that same user with the Pri licence cannot access it.
