    Hi ELIU 

     

    As far as I am away, yes it is possible to use an SSO connection to Snowflake using direct query, which will then after the user's credentials through to Snowflake. You will just have to also make sure that those users do have the right permissions on Snowflake in order to run direct queries. Connect to Snowflake with Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

Thank you. So it does sound like whether through import or direct query, I'll need to set up a user and a role in Snowflake as well...

    If you decide to use Snowflake SSO, Make sure the Snowflake SSO setting is enabled in the Tenant portal under integration settings.
