Sharing Power BI Apps through Email Distribution List ?

Hi All,

We are trying to share Power BI App from app workspace hosted on Premium capacity.

We used Email distribution list (DL) to control access to apps.

But users part of DL are not able to see app under Organizational apps.

When using App URL ,They are being redirected to "Request Access" dialogue box after App security check.

Do we need specific type of Distribution list to make it work?

or Active Directory security groups to be able to share apps with large number of users ?

did we miss anything here , any guidance much appreciated.

Many thanks

Nilesh

Hi there,

Could you try with an Active Directory Security Group and see if that works as a test?

Hi there

As far as I am aware it would have to be done via the Security Group.
