We use Sharepoint as a central source for our Power BI files. In Power BI Web, we perform an upload from Sharepoint for new files, afterwards we maintain the file on Sharepoint and it gets automatically updated in Power Bi Web.
But what to do when this scenario suddenly fails ? We have a PBIX file that is updated on Sharepoint, but is no longer updated in Power BI Web.
Is there any mean to investigate where this fails ? (where can we see the configuration of this link between PBI and Sharepoint ?).
I would guess this is visible/maintainable at least for admins in some place.
We can off course create a new upload from Sharepoint, but this will generate a new URL, and as our users have the habit to incorporate that URL in various tools and webpages, this is currently not an option. (not to mention authorization configuration and everything else).
