Sharepoint Online - programtically configure Power BI Webpart

Hi,

 

I want to create a webart that has a reporting menu ribbon. When a user clicks on a section e.g. "Project Reports" it configures the Power BI web part underneath it with the Power BI Report link to open the Project Report. Each section in the menu ribbon will contain report links to different power bi reports which when clicked on should refresh the Power BI Webpart with the appropriate report.

 

Is it possible to programmatically configure the Sharepoint Online Power BI Web Part to do this?

 

Any insight or guidane is greatly appreciated.

    Hi keviwilso,


    I haven't found any document mentioned how to programmatic embed power bi report to sharepoint online.

     

    I think you need to manually do get embed link at power bi side and add to sharepoint online.

     

    In addition, you can also post this requirement to ideas forum.
