Thank you, yeah the shared from an individual's workspace was the first pass. I created a workspace and had the author republish to that workspace (we have pro license). Currently the indiviudal that was having the most issues with the dashboard has been granted view access to this new workspace.
From your comment and what I have been able to find online, it seems like this will likely resolve the issue now that the dashboards and their datasets are contained within this workspace.
