I have a report published to a premium workspace and Free license users that are part of the Premium tenant have access to the premium workspace it's published to. The users would like to be able to share links to this report that will drive a user back to a filtered version of a report page. They're currently seeing that this is possible using the "Chat in Teams" functionality. The URL it creates provides a link back to the report and if they've filtered the report, it adds to the URL string to give it a "&bookmarkGuid" string that seems to be doing exactly what they want.
However, I can find no documentation that covers this functionality to send a user back to a pre-filtered page. I do see documentation about using "Chat in Teams" but it does not specifically cover that it can be used to create these shareable URLs to specific filtered versions of reports. It's also strange that they show 2 versions of the URL this can generate. In step 2, the screenshot shows the general link back to a report (not filtered) and in step 4 it shows a screenshot of a link back to a specific filtered page (it adds "&bookmarkGuid..." to these links).
And this "Chat in Teams" functionality appears to be working inconsistently. I have 3 different scenarios we've seen.
Does anyone have any insight on how to create a shareable link back to a filtered page of a report consistently in the service? It makes the most sense for these users to do it this way based on how often what they're filteringsharing changes. This is a better option than management of in-report bookmarks considering the large amount of variables at play.
We're on premium with specific capacity. All users are part of premium tenant with free license. All reports are published to Premium workspaces and users have view access to those premium workspaces. All users also have access to MS Teams.

Apparently the "Chat in Teams" functionality is now fixed and once again allows my users to filter a report and then create and share a URL that goes to the filtered version of the report. The users who couldn't get this to work and those who had it working and then it stopped have reported it is suddenly functional again so they're using this functionality to share links to filtered report pages.

Thanks Stephen, I'm still trying to play around with this to see if it is another way to solve the issue. So far I haven't had any luck with creating a URL that's driving to a filtered version of the report. I'm obviously doing something wrong as I keep getting error pages.
No webpage was found for the web address:"
I'm hoping this "login error" page isn't due to our Single Sign On. I'll keep working through combinations but I really wish Microsoft would update this page with some slightly more complex examples of URL strings to see exactly what that filter string looks like with spaces/special characters.
On a separate note, apparently the "Chat in Teams" functionality has been fixed and the users that were unable to use it to generate bookmarked links can do so again.
