SharePoint images will no longer be displayed.
I can't see the image anymore.
It was retrieved from SharePoint and is usually displayed.
Opening the image in a new tab will show an error.
Bad Request - Header Field Too Long
HTTP Error 400. A request header field is too long.
It's happening in Chrome, Edge, and Firefox browsers.
I'm in a lot of trouble.
Please help me.

I finally found a solution of this. Try the following. It should work on other browsers. The setback is that you have to re-log in, but not a big deal.
Do this one-time set up:
- Open Chrome.
- Type chrome://settings/
- Under Privacy and security select Cookies and other site data.
- At bottom, "Always clear cookies when windows are closed", select Add.
- Enter "{your company domain}.sharepoint.com".
- Select Add.
- Do the same to add "app.powerbi.com".

This happens with my images periodically. Sometimes clearing the cache (Cookies, images, files & browsing data) clears it up. Refreshing the webpage after opening the report also resolves the issue sometimes. Other times, nothing helps and it seems to resolve on its own in a day or two. It is frustrating, though.

Hi,
I am using SharePoint Online. The data is refreshing without a gateway properly. Do you think the issue can be one of the following?
1. Power bi not being able to pull the high-resolution images (more than 2MB).
2. Power bi not being able to handle bulk requests to SharePoint online.
3. Internet speed.
4. All of the above.
Please let me know your thoughts. Also, let me know if there is any other way of debugging this issue.
Looking forward to your response.

Hi @Anonymous ,
Are these images in SharePoint Online or are they inside the firewall (How to display images from a SharePoint Online library in PowerApps - SPGuides)? Are you using Kerberos authentication (HTTP 400 error responses to HTTP requests - Internet Information Services | Microsoft Docs) ? Is this all images or just some?

Hey @SonaliDhotre ,
One of the key aspects is if you are using SharePoint Online or if you are using SharePoint inside your firewall. And, this will determine if you have or need a gateway. After that point, you would have to confirm that you (of the gateway userid) have the appropriate permissions.

Hi @SonaliDhotre ,
Internet speed might be a problem, but I would think that it would eventually load, even with a slow internet. Have you tried putting the image in a different place and using that location (like OneDrive or a other web site)? Power BI can handle lots of requests to SharePoint Online so that would not be an issue. You ahve confirmed though that images are able to be displayed without a login? Also, look at this thread about making sure the images are the right type: Solved: Image not displaying - Microsoft Power BI Community
I don't think applies directly, but, I did run across this about image size: Chris Webb's BI Blog: Storing Large Images In Power BI Datasets Chris Webb's BI Blog (crossjoin.co.u...
