Hello I work at a company that is part of a larger group of companies. Each company has it's own Office 365 subscription.
Is it possible to share Power BI reports between companies woth Power BI Pro?
I have been able to add the users to the Office 365 group (Power BI Workspace) creating a Guest user for that purpose.
The problem I'm having is that the user can access the Office 365 Group but cannot access the Power BI workspace.
Do I need a Power BI Premium subscription or is it possible to deploy the report to a Power BI tenant that was a merge between the different companies subscription?
Another importante note is that I can see the different companies Azure Directories in the Azure Portal (Don't know if this is related in anyway).
Thx,
Miguel
Hi @moliveira,
Whether you share content inside or outside your organization, you and your recipients need a Power BI Pro license. Based on my understanding, different companies have different domain, right? If it is, you don't need a Premium subscription, Power BI pro license is ok. You can share a dashboard or report to the users who in same organization or out of organization. More details, please review: Share dashboards and reports with colleagues and others.
Azure Tortal is used to view and manage all of your applications in one unified hub—including web apps, databases, virtual machines, virtual networks, storage, and Visual Studio team projects. You can use it to Power BI Embedded using Portal.
Best Regards,
Angelia
