Hello,
In Power BI Service, I'd like to share a report and a dataset with measures, tables, etc. without allowing the users to download the .pbix file.
I've created a workspace, but either I can share everything (including the pbix file download) or nothing at all (ie: the user may only see the report and nothing more).
Is there a way to let the users edit the report without being able to download the .pbix file?
Thanks for helping!

Hi @webportal,
The there an option to disable "Export data" feature under Admin Portal. Turning off this option will prevent the whole organization from Exporting data to Excel/CSV , as well as Downloading PBIX file.
Best regards,
Yuliana Gu

Hi there
What if I want to allow summarised data download from my report but disable the .pbix file from being downloaded? Is this possible?
Thanks
Scott
@webportal hello man, i hope that you need to create a content pack, the users will use the dashboard and dataset into their workspaces.... and the dataset cannot be downloaded for pbix. I always use this solution!
take a look in this article, you will learn more about content packs... it's awesome! 🙂
