Share app to external users, newfound problems

Hi,

 

We are having troubles sharing our Power BI apps to external users in the most simple of scenarios:

 

- We at @ourdomain.com are trying to share a Power BI app with external users at @externaldomain.com. 

- Adding these external users to the apps distribution sends them an e-mail with a link to the app, once the app is updated/republished.

- After clicking the link, external users are redirected to the Power BI homepage, not to the app.

 

Anyone have an idea what is going on? Thank you in advance!

    Hi joakims 

     

    What happens if you send the user the external link from the app?

     

    Make sure that it has got the tenantID link at the end of the url?

    Same result unfortunately 😞 (tenant-id included at the end).

    Have you added these external users as guest users?

      Hi! Isn't this supposed to happen automatically? They do show up in the fomat name_externaldomain.com#EXT#@ourdomain.onmicrosoft.com once added to the publish-list.
