Hi,
i am strugelling with the subscription management.
How can I allow users to set up subscriptions for other users with out giving them edit rights?
Why it is necessary that the user who creates subscriptions has edit rights for the report? For my optinion als Role "subscription Manager" would be great. in the old world "SSRS" I could create a custom role that could create subscriptions but not change the report.
Second question, if first is not possible:
I would like to see that my key users can create subs for all their stuff, but i have to prevent them to update a report. Is it possible to get notification when a report gets edited or something like this?
Thanks an best Regards
Benedikt

Solved! Go to Solution.
This is a current limitation with Power BI Report subscriptions, what you can do is vote for the idea at https://ideas.powerbi.com
With regards to someone editing the report as far as I know in the Audit Log there is an operation called "Edit Report" and "Delete Report" which might tell you if someone edited the report.
Hi @GilbertQ ,
