Helper ISetting Restrictions on a Power BI Report and Data Source
I have a report that I don't want everyone in the company being able to see. Is there a way to set restrictions on who is able to see a certain report? Tableau Server has this capability, but I haven't been able to find it in the Premium Power BI service.
Hi. Sure you can. Once you have built your report on PowerBi Desktop you can publish to Service on a workspace. Those workspaces are collaborative spaces that can add people to help editing or just to view/read. If you publish to a workspace that only has you as admin and no more users, then it's available only for you. PowerBi Service will let you configure access to workspaces or publish the workspace as PowerBi App to a delimited and configured audience.
