Setting Parameters for Paginated Report Subscriptions

When creating subscriptions for paginated reports with parameters, is it possible to set the parameters/create the subscription without first manually running the report (and without setting default parameters within report builder)? Like how in SSRS you could create a subscription and set parameters without running the report. I have certain reports where I want to create multiple subscriptions for one report based on different parameters settings and I don't want to have to run the report with all the different parameter combinations before I can create the subscriptions.

Additionally, is it possible to BCC someone on the email subscriptions?

Hi, @pbiquestion123

Paginated reports allow you to specify the view of the report people will receive in the subscription by setting the parameters in the subscription pane.

  • Subscriptions can be sent with either the currently selected or default parameters for your report. You may set different parameter values for each subscription you create for your report.

  • If your report author has set expression-based parameters (for example, the default is always today's date), the subscription uses that as the default value. You can change other parameter values and choose to use current values, but unless you explicitly change that value as well, the subscription uses the expression-based parameter.

As for your second question, it is not possible to BCC someone on the email subscriptions at the moment. You can submit an idea for it at   https://ideas.powerbi.com/ideas/   and wait for users with the same needs as you to vote for you to help make it happen as soon as possible.
