Set up a dataflow using Sharepoint source, gateway unreachable on scheduled refresh (PC offline)

There is no need to add a SharePoint data source in the gateway because the Power BI service can directly connect to the SharePoint cloud service. According to the test, although it displays an X next to the SharePoint data source (because I did not add it to the gateway), I can still refresh the data stream correctly.
Data source credentials added to the gateway are managed on the manage gateway page, while data source credentials not added to the gateway are managed on the data flow settings page (the data source credentials section you see).
Have you not have the checkbox to allow cloud sources selected.

when you configure the source you are asked to specify a gateway as conection point to the internet that its used to connect to the source, if you left the gateway option blank it should connect directly to the sharepoint source if the credentials are ok, this way you arent sending the update request via the gateway that its what happend when you select a gateway for that source.
