Set default filter value

Hi,   I have a date slicer in my report that I Fix to the current year. So currently it is showing data up from 01/01/2020 up until today. My calender is dynamically updated so it only has data up ...

Thanks for the answer. This seems to be what I'm looking for. But doing this, the slicer does not automatically update for me. What am I doing wrong?

The second photo you show is not an option for me, because the users also want to be able to filter on the end date.

Hi Anonymous ,

 

So strange!

If you create such a calendar table, the maximum value of the date column is always today.
As long as the rightmost end of your slicer is always at the maximum value, this value will be updated as the calendar table is updated.

In addition, the Service uses UTC time, and the return value of the Today() function may be inconsistent with the local.
