Service connection for managing data gateway

Hi Team,

  while editing the credentials for making the data gateway connection through data source credentials i'm getting the following error 

error:- Cannot load model
Couldn't load the model schema associated with this report. Make sure you have a connection to the server, and try again.

concept:- i'm loading the data through direct query(SQL Database in Azure).

    Hi Venu_Sunkara ,

    It seems like power bi can't recognize and access your datasource. Any proxy settings, network policy and firewall rules enabled on your datasource which blocked power bi requests?

    If this is a case, I'd like to suggest you check these setting or enabled proxy on your gateway:

    Configure proxy settings for the on-premises data gateway
