I work at a smaller company and we are in the beginning stages of implementation of power bi for our end customers. One of the challenges that we are facing is that some of the customers desire our reports to be sent to them via email. I know that there is the capability to do this via a subscription service within the web space, which is nice, but it is currently lacking quite a bit. I also know that they are working on making it better so it might ultimately be the solution that I am looking for, but as of right now I can't subscribe for my users, they would have to get an email per page, the emails don't have a scheduling capability, and the PDFs that are sent are not very high quality.
What they really want is all of the pages in one pdf report that they can print or send to others within the organization since they are managers and the people that need to see the reports don't have access to computers during regular operations.
When I was looking around I found something called the PowerBI Robot by DevScope. It looked promising, but I can't find any videos showcasing the product and there are not very many reviews or comments about the program. Additionally, the cost is fairly large for what it is going to be doing for us. I might give it a try with the trial, but I thought I might post here as well to get some thoughts.
So I guess my real question is, has anyone come up with a solution to this problem? Any PowerBI robot users out there? Do we think that the subscription service will get to be good enough to be the solution?
