Semantic model with one schema from multiple sources

Hi,

we have data for some countries in legacy solution (Synapse dedicated SQL pool) and data for some other countries in new solution (Databricks, tables managed in Unity Catalog). Let's say there is the same star schema in both.

We need to create one Report covering data from all the countries. My question is how to build one semantic model feeded from those two sources with one common schema?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @rakisvk

What I will do is to create a new semantic model because I can get the data from multiple sources into a semantic model. The single semantic model could then be used for all your new reports.
