Semantic model refresh settings available for multiple users?

Hello,

We have several users working with the same semantic model. Sometimes the automatic refresh is disabled because there are too many refresh errors caused by changes in the underlying data source.

If the owner of this semantic model is on vacation, we would like the other users to be able to reactivate the automatic refresh after the error has been fixed. Bei anderen Benutzern (die nicht der Besitzer sind) ist die Einstellung der automatischen Aktualisierung nicht verfügbar (ausgegraut).

Is there a way for multiple users to change the automatic refresh settings?

Hi @ReneSchlegel ,

You can add users to a workspace and give them Member, Contributor, or Admin permissions. Users with these permissions should be able to manage many aspects of the datasets in the workspace, including refresh settings.

If the dataset is in a workspace where users have the appropriate permissions, they can connect to the dataset from their own reports. They can then set up their own refresh schedules.

You may also try take over the ownership if you need.

In my org, all the Capacity, workspace and reprot settings is configed by a PID. And this allow person who has PID access right to setup settings, even the person on vacation or quit, everything still goes smoothly.
