Selected dataset refresh in Power BI service

Greeting Folks,

Is there a way to refresh only specific dataset or query in Power BI service ?

For my scenerio there are 4-5 tables/queries in PBI Desktop and I can do selective refresh there.

However once it is published to Service, we see only 1 dataset as a whole and not individual queries/tables. Can we do selective refresh like Desktop in Service ?

Hi @bhurru 

It is not supported to refresh specific tables/queries in a dataset in Power BI service. Actually, when you hit Refresh button in Power BI Desktop, it also refreshes all the tables in the model. Here is a similar idea you can vote for: Microsoft Idea · Create a different schedule refresh for each table (with a single dataset)

Hi @bhurru ,

You can not do selective data sources in the Service.  You can only refresh the entire Data Set at that point.  You may look and see if there is an idea out there that you can vote for to do this.
