Search field descriptions?

It is great that fields now support displaying their description when picking fields.

However, is there anyway to search on those descriptions?

For example, we have "Customer Orders ID" but in the database the name is CUST_ORD_FKID.

Some of our users find it much easier to just search on the database field name instead of say "customer".

Is there anyway to support this, or plans for synonym support in the future?
