Search bar appears different in Desktop and Server

Please Help!

I created a dashboard with a slicer that allows the user to search for specific values. In the Desktop version, the searched values are easily visible. When I published it to the Server, the font is lighter and harder to determine what is being searched for. Is there a way to fix this? I've tried different themes with varying results. Does anyone know of a way to make the values in the search bar appear darker in the server? I can see what I am typing when I am presenting the dashboard, but I have heard comments that it is not dark enough for some to distinguish.

Thanks!

    Hi there

What happens if you try one of the themes within Power BI desktop, there are some darker ones in there?

    They might work better?

  • Hi there

I have seen some challenges when using themes and different colours.

What happens if you send it back to the default theme does that work?

      Hi GilbertQ,

      Thanks for your response.

I have tried a few different themes and using the default, and have had various results. It seems that the lighter background themes work better than the darker ones. However, I would like to keep my darker theme as is if possible (it is easier on the eyes when I work on it, and I have already presented it to a few people with this theme). Do you have any other suggestions on how I can combat this issue before I change my theme?

      Thanks!
