Scorecard Shared Views Expiring
Hi MattBossert
The shared report view will automatically expire after 180 days. Each time the link shared report view is accessed the expiration is reset to 180 days.

Hi Anonymous
Thanks for taking the time to reply and sharing this useful information.
The link you shared seems to be specific to shared views which are manually created and shared. I just want to confirm that this same criteria also applies for shared views which are systematically created when a filtered metric is brought into a scorecard? Specifically, when a scorecard viewer clicks "Open the report this value is connected to", does using that button actually reset the expiration on that shared view to 180 days?
When shared views used by a scorecard metric do expire, is there any way to get them back? Or are my only options to either:
1) Accept that the "open the report this value is connected to" button will no longer work for the metric(s) in the scorecard which used that expired shared view, or
2) Recreate the scorecard metric(s) from scratch, thus automatically creating a new shared view?
If I go with option 2 and delete the metric with the expired shared view and create a new metric in it's place, would I lose all historical trending data within the scorecard for that metric?

From the article, the shared link should be the same to scorecard
Q2:When shared views used by a scorecard metric do expire, is there any way to get them back?
You can share the scorecard manually without recreare a scorecard, you can refer to the following link:

Hi Anonymous
My question is not about re-sharing the scorecard itself. It's about re-enabling the shared view which is automatically created when a filtered visual from a report is brought into a scorecard as a metric.
From the scorecard, within a single metric, there's a button to "Open the report this value is connected to". When the user clicks that button, it typically takes them to the report where this metric was pulled from and applies the same filters to the visual which the metric uses. This is apparently accomplished with a shared-view.
When my shared views expired, cliking this button now simply takes the user to the first page of the report in question with the following warning displayed:
This is not ideal, because the user is no longer taken to the report page and visual related to the metric they clicked and the proper filters are not automatically applied for them.
My question is how can I get this scorecard functionality working properly again after the shared views apparently expired?
