Scorecard - Linked Metrics
I am using the Metric - Scorecard feature of PowerBi. We have multiple scorecards with linked metrics. Our business unit name has changed and they would like to file names to represent this change. If I change the name of a linked scorecard/metric, does this break the link and I would have to re-link all over again? Our does everything all sync up even with a name change?
Thanks in advance!

Hi, Anonymous
From the information I found, changing the name of a linked scorecard or metric in Power BI does not break the link. All check-ins, edits, and updates are reflected in all the metric locations, so you don't have to create duplicate metrics to track the same thing.Create linked metrics in the Power BI service - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
This means that if you change the name of a linked scorecard or metric, everything should sync up automatically without the need to re-link all over again.
However, it's always a good idea to test this in a controlled environment to ensure that everything works as expected before making changes in your production environme.
