Scheduled dataset refresh fails while manual refresh from Power BI Desktop works

When I refresh the dataset in Power BI Desktop and Publish it: no problem.

 

The scheduled refresh however fails with an error message (see further down). I have no idea what could be wrong and in which query + can't find anything really related at the moment.

 

Any feedback, suggestions or hints greatly appreciated!

Hi,

 

It hasn't been solved yet. It's under investigation currently with Ms support. The moment it's solved, I'll update also this post.

Hi, @ackerkris 

Do you have any other custom visuals in your report? Please delete that visual and upload your new report to a different workspace to see if it works well.

If the problem is still not resolved,I would suggest you to create a support ticket to let engineers look into the issue on your side.

Hi @v-easonf-msft,

 

My dataset initially hasn't had any custom visuals in there till last week, but the problem is already present several weeks, so normally nothing to do with custom visuals.

 

I'll get in touch with our service desk people (who manage the Power Bi service) and have them create a support ticket.
