Scheduled Refresh not working due to Old Excel 97-2003 in Sharepoint

Hi,

I am having issues when trying to schedule a refresh on a particular dashboard.

My data sources are from SQL (which has a gateway and working)

Data is also coming from Sharepoint files which has mutliple old 97 excel files. We are power automating data export from reports on a certain website so cannot do anything about the file, the script is currently replacing these files.

Any ideas would be great.

Okay, what do you mean on all gateway cluster members?

Does the legacy driver need to be put on the SQL gateway?

I hope you didn't put the gateway on the same machine as the SQL server?

Exactly as the message says.  You need to install that legacy driver on all gateway cluster members.

Avoid this if you can. It will continue to give you grief.  Say no to .xls, .xlsb, and .accdb !
