Hello Guys,
I need help, I am facing a challenge with automatic/scheduled refresh for my reports since a week ago. Each refresh attempt is pointing to a different table. I am pulling the data from MySQL server and using on-premises data gateway. The server is able to connect locally to the data source from workbench or DBeaver and I am able to refresh the dashboard from my PBI desktop but PBI service.
Am using latest gateway version and I also tried to temporary turn off firewall on my gateway server but it all proved futile
Gateway version that am running
Here are the error details for one iteration:
Data source error: {"error":{"code":"DM_GWPipeline_Client_GatewayUnreachable","pbi.error":{"code":"DM_GWPipeline_Client_GatewayUnreachable","parameters":{},"details":[],"exceptionCulprit":1}}} Table: vw_sites.
Cluster URI: WABI-US-EAST2-redirect.analysis.windows.net

Here are the error details for another iteration:
Data source error: {"error":{"code":"DM_GWPipeline_Client_GatewayUnreachable","pbi.error":{"code":"DM_GWPipeline_Client_GatewayUnreachable","parameters":{},"details":[],"exceptionCulprit":1}}} Table: vw_Actual_Pulled_Files.
Cluster URI: WABI-US-EAST2-redirect.analysis.windows.net

So you can actually see that both iterations gave me the same error but pointing to different tables and my gateway is up and running as shown here below
Please help
Hi @Winston
The image you shared above is not the same gateway name as your original issue which was on a gateway called "PowerBI"
Hello @GilbertQ
Its the same, Just that I painted the names, see below

I am really stuck and out of options as to what maybe causing this
Hi @Winston
Have you downloaded and installted the latest version of the Gateway?
Also is there enough free disk space on the C:Drive?
And have you restarted the gateway server?
Finally, can you see anything in the power BI Gateway server logs indicating any issues?
Hi @Winston
What happens when you go into the Power BI Gateway "Manage Connections and Gateways", can you then see if it shows there as the gateway being online?
Then click on the Status to make sure it says Online as shown below for my gateway. If this shows as Offline then log into your gateway server and make sure the service is running.
