Hello everyone. I have a dashboard that is used by the whole company that is published to the service and can be accessed from Teams or the website. I have it set on a scheduled refresh 8 times a day. The issue we see is that the scheduled refreshes show as "Completed", but sometimes no data or only partial data shows up. I have to then go into the workspace and do a manual refresh. What is confusing is that it says the refresh is complete, but it doesn't grab all the data. I would rather see a failed refresh and know that the old data is still in there. Instead we see zeros.
Has anyone experienced this before?
Thanks for the reply from lbendlin.

The semantic model refresh has no idea what you mean by "partial data". All it does is run the mashup queries, with whatever data is available. You may have a timing conflict when the refresh happens before the source system is updated, or some timezone timing issues, or any other reason.
Ideally you would abandon the scheduled refreshes and instead base your refresh request on a signal from the data source that it has completed its own refresh. You can do that with Power Automate, for example.
