Hi @soumitramundada ,

Thanks for @GilbertQ  suggestion! If it's a dynamic data source, you can refer to this link to troubleshoot the issue:

Data refresh in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

Hope it helps!

Thank you Gilbert and Scott , I checked the link and and dynamic site but I cannot delete the data source as I need to pull data from the external websource. Also in Power query editor no red flags are shows as such, still in service I get this error:

Settings for Allocation tool V1

View semantic model

Unable to determine the data source due to unknown functions. When custom connectors are used, the error can happen if gateway doesn't have the extension enabled. Details: Query contains unknown function name: Replicon.Contents.

Hi @soumitramundada ,

According to the error report, the gateway does not have this extension and is a data source that does not support refreshing. Consider converting the data source to excel and update it periodically.

Hope it helps!

Converting into excel would make it static data source, we need this to be live data.

Hi @soumitramundada

This is sometimes a WEB URL source because it has some dynamic details.

Another way to find out is to delete the data sources in Power Query until it no longer says "Unsupported data source"
