Schedule Refresh with the machine switched off

I am trying to schedule the refresh of a dataset when the machine is switched off. All of my data sources are from the cloud so I am not using any Gateway connection.

I tried switching off my laptop during the scheduled refresh time and turned it on again. The report refreshed only after the laptop was switched on. What am I doing wrong here? Please assist. Thanks!

It honestly seems like a coincidence that you see the updated data when you turn it back on.

Leave it running and schedule some refreshes to occur over-night, then @ me tomorrow to see if this is still occuring.

Also, send a screenshot with the last refresh date as shown below:

What are the cloud data sources you are using?

Hi,

I am using Salesforce objects and multiple excel sheets from SharePoint folders.

Thanks!

Make sure when you're in the datasource settings, that your credentials are correct.

Edit the credentials if they are incorrect, as shown below:

Yes, my credentials are correct and I am not getting any error while refreshing it. The problem is only when I switch off my laptop. It's not refreshing at the scheduled time but refreshes only after I turn on my laptop again.

Thanks!

The text is very small and blurry, but did the refresh get completed correctly this time? I am seeing Completed for the last refresh that was scheduled.
