Senario:
I am using MySQL database as my datasource to create the Power BI Dashboard and Report and I have using the trial of the Personal Gateway. However, I found that it only limited schedule refresh 8 times a day.
Question 1:
Question 2
Hi,
is there any plan to change this limit (8 by day)?
I have the same issue when updating data from SSAS Multidimensional and I need to update the data every hour for the whole day.
I know I could create equivalent Tabular model, but there are good reasons why the model is multidimensional. And moving data back to relational database in Azure is even worse option then recreating the whole model to tabular.
Thanks
Jiri
1) If you are asking if there is another way to support more refreshes for On-prem MySQL. - no, not in the tool. If you want to explore live data refresh you have to look to using Azure SQL DB, or a SQL SSAS instance with the Analysis Services Connector.
2) Any option you use in the paid side of this chart will require the end user to also be a paying user. To say it another way, if you are using "any" Pro feature in your report or dashboard, the end user must be a Pro user as well.
Thanks for reply, one more question.
When using SQL Azure Database to create the report the end user who consume the report and the report creator also required a Pro license?
@madakiman - Yep
Here is a better page that describes what is considered "Pro" content.
