Saving Power BI Embedded Capacity Usage with refresh on different workspace?

Hi there,


In power BI desktop we have the possibility of connecting to a PowerBI dataset (which I never explored). My question is this, with Power BI embedded the refresh time will use capacity thus increasing the cost at the end of the month. Is it possible to refresh the data on another workspace and then having connected the report which lives in Embedded Workspace linked to that dataset or wouldnt make a difference? 

Summing up, I publish the same report on two workspaces PRO workspace and Embedded Workspace, but the refresh is made on the PRO.

    Hey Campelliann,
    I am assuming that you are using the A nodes. I have done the same with P nodes and it works. Just make sure to you provide the correct dataset permission on the dataset in the pro workspace. Let us know how it goes.
